Saint Ignatius College Prep’s Girls Swim and Dive team season is in full swing.
Fresh off a sectional championship in 2024, the team is gearing up for even greater accomplishments.
The Wolfpack team is stacked with a roster full of talent.
This year’s senior class brings leadership and depth across every event. The roster includes: Delaney Brown, Margaret Hickey, Alexis Nelson, Liepa Niaura, Franchesca Sanchez, Maeve Shannon, Caroline Welch, Colleen Tracy and Angela Wideikis. Together, these seniors form the backbone of the Wolfpack, combining experience, skill and determination.
Tracy, has already built an impressive reputation at Ignatius and continues to stand out in the talented pool of the senior class. Tracy has earned recognition for her consistent performance, she races the 200 medley and 100 free.
“I’m more than ready for the upcoming season and excited to face new competition and challenges. Our team has been working hard in daily practices and lifts” said Tracy.
As the season begins, expectations are high. The team competes at Loyola Academy invitational in September
giving the Wolfpack the perfect opportunity to showcase its talent. They will be challenged throughout the year by strong opponents such as the Ramblers and the Fenwick Friars.
